The main problem that we observe initially that testing is carried after implementation being done. If there is any large scale project then tester often misses some of the fine aspects. In case, you miss anything at any stage, you might need to repeat entire process right from the beginning. In this case SDLC and STLC run in parallel from phase to phase. Iterative development and testing models are also extremely popular that is more or less same as V model of testing.
