Framework: Some of the common frameworks that are used in automation style of testing are data driven, keyword driven, hybrid driven and some more. Different framework has different approach when we consider their speed of execution and parameters to be tested. On other hand manual testing is entirely different where mainly checklist works rather than any framework.
Documentation: this part is important for both types of testing whether it is manual or automation. Manual testing can give set of test cases that can be used to teach other testers if there is need. On other hand, scripts can be used and saved for further usage or training when we consider automation style of testing.
Test Designing: It all depends on the way or the hierarchy in which script is written with conditions. On other hand, test cases hierarchy is important when we consider manual testing. In manual style of testing, you cannot get into coding part so designing of test is as per requirements.
DevOps: this part helps in the build verification testing in case of automation style of testing. Not important, if you are doing manual testing. Though such approach, we can say that wherever there is complexity, manual testing is not that important as automation style of testing is.
