We have put blogs that have only fact. Entire website is full with quality information about various possible ways of software testing. We have elaborated manual style of testing in one of the old blogs and here we are going to check some of the myths.
Myth 1: Without technical knowledge, anyone can start manual testing
Reality: totally false, even manual testing needs understanding of working mythology of software. This is a fact that manual method is easier than automation because you do not need to write scripts but it does not mean anyone can do this.
Myth 2: After testing product will become 100 percent error free
Reality: testing is intended to find out maximum possible errors in the software but it does not mean that all software errors will be addressed.
Myth 3: Automation testing is far more powerful than manual testing:
Reality: For all projects, you will always find mix of manual and automation. It would be wrong to say that anything is more powerful than any else.
Myth 4: testing is quite easy
Reality: not really, we will add that QA is the toughest part in the software development. If any fault comes in the software then only software tester will be blamed. Coding can be done through copy cat too but testing is extremely sensitive.
Overall we would like to say that testing has two major forms automation and manual and both have their own importance. We can’t underestimate that this part is more important than this one.
